Creative Journey

How did I get here?

My photography journey began over 20 years ago with a pinhole camera my freshmen year of high school. I was hooked and continued to take photography though all of high school. As the digital age came to be I put the camera down feeling as though the artistry was lost with no darkroom to develop. I took a familiar route in college, though, exploring video & graphic design. Unexpectedly, this led me back to photography through a different lens. Photoshop became my evolved darkroom, and later Lightroom added new dimensions to my creative process.

I moved to Phoenix for a time and got work in Scottsdale as a photographer learning the ins and outs of working with a full team capturing candid memories of visitor experiences. When I moved back to Colorado, I got a gig working on a fabulous marketing team, gaining knowledge on commercial and branding photography and much more.

Today, I bring theses collective experiences, curiosity and intention to every shoot. Working independently, I collaborate with clients to turn ideas into art. Share your vision—and let’s make it happen.
